Do I need to know how to build a training program?
No — that is exactly the part the coach handles. You bring a goal, the days you can train and, if you have them, two or three recent workouts. Choosing the method, ordering the exercises and setting the loads is the AI's job.
How long is the interview?
The very first question asks how detailed you are willing to be. A short interview is around ten questions; a deep one runs to about twenty-five. Every question is generated from what you already answered, so nothing is asked twice and nothing generic is asked at all.
What if I have never tracked my working weights?
Skip that part of the interview. The first week is then a calibration week: the coach starts deliberately conservative, watches what you actually log and corrects the loads from real data instead of a guess.
How does the program change after a workout?
Every logged session rewrites the tail of the program. If a top set moved faster than expected, the next jump is bigger. If it ground to a halt, the plan backs off and rebuilds. The old version is archived, never overwritten.
What happens if I miss a week?
Tell the coach in the chat. The remaining program is recalculated from where you are now, not from where the plan assumed you would be. Missed sessions move the projected date — they do not change the goal.
Can I go back to an old program?
Yes. Every program and every version of it is kept with its date, goal, method and status. Bring any of them back in one tap and the coach re-tunes the weights to your current numbers.
Can I train with an injury or a restriction?
Declare it in the interview — old surgeries, a disc issue, a shoulder that complains — and the program is built around it, substituting the movements that aggravate the area. Gym Bro is a training tool, not medical advice. If something hurts, see a professional first and then tell the coach what you were told.
What equipment do I need?
Whatever you say you have. A commercial gym, a rack in the garage, a pair of dumbbells, or nothing but bodyweight — the program is written against the equipment you list, and rewritten if that changes.
Does it cover nutrition?
When the goal touches bodyweight, yes. The coach asks where you live and which shops you can actually use, then gives day-by-day options. For a pure strength goal it stays out of your kitchen unless you ask.
How does voice logging work?
Hold the button and say the set the way you would say it out loud: “bench 85 for 5, third rep grinded”. The AI turns that into a structured entry — exercise, sets, reps, weight — and notes how the session felt.
How much does it cost?
$20 per month after a ten-day free trial. Cancel inside the trial and you are charged nothing. There is one plan; there is nothing to upgrade to.
Is there a mobile app?
The web app runs in a phone browser today. Native iOS and Android builds are in progress from the same codebase — the plan is one product on every screen, not three different ones.
Who can see my training data?
Your programs and logs belong to your account. They are used to run the coach for you and are not sold or published. You can request export or deletion at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
