Cookie Policy
Short version: this website currently sets nothing but your own cookie choice. Analytics and any other non-essential storage load only after you press “Accept”, and you can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
1. What we mean by “cookies”
“Cookies” here covers cookies and equivalent browser storage such as localStorage. They
are small pieces of data a site can keep in your browser between visits.
2. What this website stores today
- gymbro_cookie_consent — strictly necessary. Records whether you accepted or
declined non-essential storage, so the banner does not reappear on every page. Stored in
localStoragein your browser, never sent to our servers. Kept until you clear your browser data.
That is the complete list. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no social media pixels and no session recording on this site.
3. What may be added later, only with your consent
- Analytics — aggregate statistics about which pages are visited, so we know what to improve. These scripts are blocked in the page markup and are only executed after you accept.
If we ever add such a script, this page is updated first and consent is requested again.
4. The application at app.gym-bro.org
The application uses strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in between sessions, so you do not have to log in every time you open it. That storage is required for the service to function and cannot be declined while using the app.
5. Your choice, and how to change it
The banner on your first visit offers “Accept” and “Decline”, with equal weight. Declining is not penalised in any way — the entire site works either way.
To change your decision:
- use the button below, or the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page;
- or clear this site's data in your browser settings, which resets the banner.
6. Blocking cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data — usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean the consent banner reappears on every visit and, in the application, that you have to sign in each time.
