About

A coach for one goal at a time.

Gym Bro started as a personal problem: a specific number on the bench, and no honest way to plan the road to it. Every app either handed out a generic split or turned into a logbook that never talked back.

01

Goal first

Everything in the product hangs off one sentence you write at the start. No goal, no program.

02

Your numbers

Two or three past workouts are worth more than any questionnaire. The plan starts from what you actually lift.

03

Always recalculated

A plan that ignores last night's session is fiction. Every log rewrites what comes next.

The story

Built by someone who has to use it.

There is one developer behind Gym Bro, and he is also user number one. The rule for the whole project is uncomfortable but simple: nothing ships until it is good enough to run his own training week. If a screen is annoying at 21:40 with a barbell waiting, it gets fixed before anything new gets built.

That is also why the product is narrow. There is no social feed, no friends list, no badges. There is a goal, an interview, a program, a log, and a coach that reacts to what the log says.

Principles

Four rules the product is built on.

One

Honest over optimistic

If your deadline is not realistic, the coach says so and shows what would have to change. A motivating lie costs you three months.

Two

Nothing is deleted

Every program version is archived. You can always go back to the plan that was working and pick it up with today's weights.

Three

Three taps, maximum

Logging a set in the gym has to be faster than opening a notes app. Big buttons, one-tap entry, or voice.

Four

Narrow on purpose

Features that don't move you toward your number don't get built. That is the whole roadmap policy.

Straight talk

What Gym Bro is not.

Not medical advice

It is a training tool. It plans around injuries you declare, but it does not diagnose or treat anything. For pain, see a professional.

Not a guarantee

Numbers depend on sleep, food, stress and consistency. The coach gives you the plan and honest projections, not a promise.

Not a social network

No feed, no likes, no followers. If that ever ships, it ships long after the training core is genuinely good.
